Harrison Jub: Building Community Through Sport, Movement, and Shared Experience

For Harrison Jub, sports is far more than competition or performance—it is a powerful platform that builds discipline, resilience, and human connection. When people move together, they are not just participating in an event; they are sharing energy, purpose, and personal transformation.

He believes the true value of the sports industry is not defined by scale alone, but by impact. Every participant matters—whether it is a first-time runner completing a 3KM challenge or an elite athlete pursuing a personal best. Each journey carries meaning, growth, and experience.

From Fitness Entrepreneurship to Community Movement Building

Harrison Jub’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2008 with the founding of BodyXpress Gym, driven by a deep passion for fitness and human performance.

In 2010, he expanded into one of Malaysia’s early CrossFit facilities, followed by Elements Health Integrated (2011–2015), a pioneering concept combining fitness services, clinical care, and genetic testing for a more holistic approach to health.

In 2016, he co-founded KLCC Runners Group, which rapidly grew from 30 participants to over 30,000 followers within two years—demonstrating the power of community-driven engagement. This success led to the creation of Malaysia Runners (Kita Pelari Malaysia), which has since grown into a nationwide running community of over 200,000 members.

Since 2018, Harrison and his team have expanded into large-scale event execution, delivering more than 150 nationwide sports events. These include inclusive categories such as Family 3KM runs and OKU divisions, ensuring accessibility for all levels of participants.
