Need a plumber ASAP? Need a photographer for next week’s event? Kaodim has the professionals just for you.
Founded by two former lawyers, Kaodim is a service marketplace that acts as a platform showcasing services available to hire. Just key in what you need and the right professional services will be vetted for you. They also provide customer reviews and allows customised quotations. All of this, through your smartphone, tablet or computer.
Just a month after their launch, they gained around 500 vendors with 400 job requests as well as 1,300 quotations that were returned. Kaodim also proves their popularity with over 45,000 likes on Facebook. Their services are available in the Klang Valley, Penang and Johor Bahru.

Dah Makan
Do you want to start eating healthy but have no time to cook in the morning?
Dah Makan is an app that allows you to stick to your New Year’s resolution to eat healthy, while allowing you to save time and money. You can order fresh, MSG-free meals through their app or website and get them delivered to your doorstep.
The Dah Makan menu provides you with three choices for lunch and another three choices for dinner in a single day. An assortment of dishes can be found on their menu such as Salmon, Black bean and Quinoa salad with lemon dressing to Peri Peri Chicken leg with Tomato Rice and Corn on the Cob.
Dah Makan delivers for lunch and dinner. You can also opt for packages of 20, 50 or 100 meals or alternatively, you can choose to do group orders for your corporate event, team lunch or even large friend gatherings.
Prices for the dishes are exactly what you pay— delivery is free, with no service or admin charges and all prices are inclusive of GST.

TableApp
Online restaurant booking site TableApp allows you to make reservations online at your favourite restaurant without having to phone the restaurant repeatedly during their peak periods.
With up to 80 restaurants available on their app, it is no surprise that only after eight months, the app hit 10,000 diners. Their popularity is evident in malls like Starhill Gallery, where up to 80% of their restaurants can be found on the TableApp platform.
TableApp’s partner with Groupon allows you to also redeem vouchers. Simply create an account on the app to make reservations and for every booking that you make, points will be awarded which can then be redeemed in the form of vouchers. It’s a win-win situation. You can reserve a table at your favourite restaurant without any hassle while at the same time work towards getting vouchers!
