Adobe Systems (Adobe inc.) and Malaysian platinum partner, Acestar Sdn Bhd, officially launched the Creative Cloud Community (CCC) at SEA Connect, The Creative Conference 2019 held at Nexus Connexion, Bangsar South on 13th June.
The CCC is established to connect all creative users and businesses together to learn, share and grow the creative community, as well as establishing an ecosystem of creative talents. The long-term vision for CCC is to project Malaysia as the central hub for the creative industry in Asia.
Ms Natalie Sit, Acestar Group CEO and founder of CCC, said “The launching of the Creative Cloud Community is a timely decision, as there is high demand for such skilled workers in the industry. With the guidance of the CCC Elite and the support of government agencies, we are poised to assist the youths of Malaysia to develop and grow their skills.”
The CCC Elite members consist of prominent players representing different industries, including Andy Sitt, Founder and Chairman of Inmagine Group, and Professor TS Dr. Ahmad Rafi Mohammad Eshaq, President and Chief Executive Officer of Multimedia University, as part of their advisory panel.
Ms Surina Shukri, CEO of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), also expressed her support for the CCC.
“With our creative talent, we will, we can and we must become the dominant soft power in the ASEAN region. MDEC is supportive of efforts that enable the Malaysian youths to blaze a trail in the fast-growing creative economy,” said Ms Surina.
