The three-day conference is organised by the Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA), taking place from 18th till 20th of July 2019. MIRF is the biggest showcase of retail exhibitors in ASEAN, showcasing established and upcoming retail brands under one roof.

“I am honoured to be here to officiate MIRF as it is the exhibition of the year for retailers and franchisers. I am proud to support this initiative by MRCA in developing business opportunities to stimulate the Malaysian economy. My ministry and I aim to accelerate the main domestics sectors that are viable, competitive and sustainable,” said Saifuddin.

Themed ‘Franchise Forward’, the exhibition will emphasise the role of MIRF as a platform for franchisees to explore the franchise venture industry while businesses are able to showcase their brand.

MIRF gathered 18,000 visitors from 10 countries around the world with a targeted revenue of RM 90 Million this year. The exhibition has attracted more than 200 exhibitors nearing 400 booths and kiosks for local brands, and 50 booths for foreign exhibitors.

The exhibition also aims to provide a platform as a catalyst for local and international exhibitors to interact and explore business matching opportunities locally and globally.
