PUTRAJAYA, 10th February 2021 – Maystar Beauty Sdn Bhd’s Managing Director and Neutrovis Brand Owner, Zayn Puah and Anggun Kirana Sdn Bhd’s Managing Director and Himaya’s Brand Owner, Dato’ KK Chua were at Putrajaya yesterday along with Neutrovis’ brand ambassador, Izzue Islam, to officiate a presentation to the Ministry of Housing and Local Government.
“The reason behind our CSR efforts is to lessen the burden of the rakyat as well as the frontliners in this unprecedented time”, Zayn Puah explains. Neutrovis and Himaya have collaborated to donate a generous 50,000 boxes of MDA-approved medical facemasks across charity organisations and governmental sectors to further help the efforts of flattening the curve.
A presentation of 10,000 boxes of MDA-approved medical facemasks worth RM 350,000 were donated to help the underprivileged, B40 communities, PPR residents and frontliners, among others. This initiative by Neutrovis and Himaya was launched in spirit of the Chinese New Year celebration, keeping frontliners and the B40 in mind, to lessen the burden of struggling communities in unprecedented times.
Minister of Housing and Local Government, YB Datuk Dr. Hajah Zuraida Binti Kamaruddin, graced the officiation of the initiative where she expressed her gratitude and reiterated on how the masks are MDA-approved, which will further help in effectively curbing the spread of the virus.
“Thank you to Anggun Kirana and Maystar Beauty for donating the medical facemasks to the rakyat in need. The masks that are being donated are special because it has been approved by the Medical Device Authority which is a highly accredited product. I hope this’ll be of help to the residents of the PPR and the B40 community”, said YB Datuk Dr. Hajah Zuraida Binti Kamaruddin.
Neutrovis’ brand ambassador, Izzue Islam was also present to actively be part of the initiative. Izzue has been using his voice and platform to raise awareness in regard to staying safe and healthy as we collectively fight to flatten the curve.Neutrovis’ and Himaya’s objective is solely to help the government flatten the curve by easing the burden of struggling communities while playing their role as a socially responsible corporation. “In spirit of Chinese New Year, we’d like to convey a positive message and share our prosperity with those in need; we shall sail through this pandemic together”, said Himaya’s Brand Owner, Dato’ KK Chua. “Let’s all adhere to the SOPs set by the government and avoid being careless for the collective well-being of our nation”, he added.
