Pos2U Sdn Bhd (Pos2U), a Point of Sales (POS) systems solution provider, aimed to expand into the Asia region within three years.
Its managing director, Jeft Lee said the company is currently investing heavily in POS software innovation to provide a comprehensive environment for the food and beverage (F&B) industries, intending to provide a better solution for business owners.
He said this includes resolving manpower management issues, handling difficulties in freely monitoring business, setbacks in stock supervision and wastage, and even providing solutions to those having difficulties in expanding business due to a lack of business data collection and analysis.
“Our business is in the information technology (IT) sector which mainly focuses on F&B POS systems. We are not merely producing and providing POS systems but also provide professional consultation from startups to business management.
“We are also well-versed in Automated Operation systems which mainly focused on F&B industries inclusive of Multi-Chain Store (Franchise) Management, Customer Relationship Management, Product and Inventory Management, Time Management Systems and other relevant IT Services and Solutions,” he told Entrepreneur Insight recently.
In reflecting on his entrepreneurial journey, the 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs 2022 stated that he started the business with his business partner.
“In the beginning, we are focusing on the computer hardware and peripherals businesses before venturing into the POS systems together.
“I consider the company as my children. We run the company with an expression of gratitude, just like our company’s core value – THANKS. THANKS, stands for Think, Heart, Ambitious, Navigate, Kindness and Success.

“The core value frequently made us feel grateful for our business journey. We always believe that if we follow the THANKS philosophy, we will be able to run the business smoothly and steadily. Furthermore, we hope that our innovation will help F&B operators reduce operational mistakes and errors, as well as improve efficiencies and cost-savings,” he said.
The holder of a Master of Business Administration from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia went on to say that his clients have always inspired him as an entrepreneur.
“I love it when I get customer chats, questions, and feedback. Whenever I read those conversations, I am inspired to do better, change things, and create products based on feedback. That motivates me every day. Not only that, but seeing my clients’ restaurants and outlets grow and expand gives me the energy and motivation to keep going. Every day, we strive to solve our client’s problems,” he added.
As the saying goes, ‘Your best teacher is your last mistake’, Jeft said he also had made mistakes when running his business operation.

“Pos2u used to hire the wrong people for the job. As my partner and I try to adjust to our new surroundings, we have encountered numerous difficulties and made mistakes such as hiring the wrong people or putting the wrong person in the wrong position. Our operational costs have risen as a result of the error, and we have been learning our lesson ever since,” he said, adding that he looks forward to solving clients’ problems and helping them to overcome their operational difficulties such as reducing wastage and manpower issues.
“We expect our team could assist clients and hold hand by hand in guiding clients on our software. We are grateful that with our extensive support to clients, we received a lot of positive feedback on our team’s hard work,” he concluded.
